DISCOVER : The Bohos

Liverpool's next big thing is here, and in a big way.
With a unique blend of old school grunge influence, youthful energy, and modern indie rock atmosphere, The Bohos are making a splash in Liverpool's indie scene. After sorting out many different band members since as early as 2015, the four-piece has finally found a stellar lineup consisting of Fin Power (lead vocals and guitar), Elliot Gill (lead guitar and vocals), Jack Danily (drums), and Ian Grant (bass). They debuted in January with single, "Monday Morning", and returned in May with "Elliot's Song".

While drawing comparisons to more well-known bands such as The Night Café, The Magic Gang, The DMA's, and Cast, the band has even supported a few of the aforementioned groups at various shows. The young group may only have two released songs under their belt, but have already established a clean, well-written, and well-produced sound. In their first release, The Bohos have you wide awake on "Monday Morning", with punchy but not overdone percussion, loud guitar, and howling vocals. "Elliot's Song" is a fantastic follow-up, with more catchy guitar, and another huge chorus. The talented band has such a spirited sound that it almost makes you feel like you're in the front row of one of their shows as you listen.

Liverpool has always been well-known as one of the biggest music cities in Europe, and The Bohos are a great new addition to the roster. With their fantastic guitar work, memorable hooks, and rock 'n' roll vibe, this up-and-comer is one you should be watching.
