This Detroit-based producer and song-writer is quickly forging his way into the electro-indie pop universe.

Since his debut, nydge has been collaborating with various artists on many projects. In June 2016, Nigel Van Hemmye, better known as nydge, released his first project, single "We Are Now", featuring Joe Hertler, of Joe Hertler and The Rainbow Seekers - a fellow Michigan-based artist. Self-described on Facebook as "Electronic music with Pop Sensibilities", nydge offers a refreshing new outlook on pop music, that you can't miss out on.

nydge has released seven singles so far, joining forces with many different artists. "El Segundo" (above), has received the most air time on Spotify, and it's not hard to see why. The November 2016 release featuring Kim Vi, of Kim Vi & The Siblings, boasts a memorable hook, tropical synths, and catchy electric guitar. Most recently, Hemmye has been working with Norty, another musician from Michigan. "Circumstances" was their first release together, which also featured Kameryn Ogden, who offers simply ethereal vocals to the project. Last Tuesday, August 8, nydge dropped another single with Norty, "Morning Air", which is a feverish, addictive, youthful anthem, that features unique synths, smooth vocals, and incredible percussion. 

With releases like these, nydge is putting himself out there as an experienced producer and creator. Each song has a professional, polished sound, drawing in the listener, and bringing them back for more.
