This week's Discover Tuesday comes in the form of a smart and sunny three-piece from - you guessed it - Nashville. Brave Town and their 2015-released self-titled EP have been a favourite of mine for a long time, and with their effortless guitar lines, happy melodies, and brilliant energy, they'll soon become a favourite of yours too.

Further proof that there must be something in the air in Nashville, Tennessee, this young band's first release sounds like anything but a first. Vocalist and guitar player Jay Ragsdale, lead guitarist and pianist Michael Kelley, and bassist Lucas Morton have created an irresistibly summery indie debut, while playing with a pop-punk energy, similar to the that of Circa Waves' hit single, "T-Shirt Weather". 

The EP starts off with road-trip-ready "Denim", whose smooth guitar, perfectly-placed percussion, and summertime storybook of lyrics are just the perfect way to get you hooked. The bright guitar lines and huge vocals continue into "It Won't Be Long", while the band then does some more acoustic slowing down on the beautiful and thought-provoking "Is It Worth It". The fourth song, "Who You Want Me to Be", brings Brave Town - EP to a close, with its building layers of guitars, vocals, and percussion.
